Prep Week

Tuesday, March 28, 2006
I took the day off so that I could get my soon-to-be house inspected for its pending sale. The guy was very thorough and took about five hours to complete it. K., the realtor, took me out to Hill St. Cafe to eat. It was my first time there. The food was organic/natural and good tasting.
I ate pesto with blackened tofu. Surprisingly, the tofu wasn't bad.

Business as usual...I inventoried the FOSS kit and continued to be distracted by new home buying business. The kids are humming along through the human anatomy book--reading, discussing, answering questions, designing and constructing group presentations on parts of the chapter four.

I dug up the old science and math interest questionaire, modified it, and printed it. The ice cream demons forced me to drink a chocolate-peanut butter malt for dinner. The wine gods also got me when I got home. Monica and my explorations of home improvement have begun. Oh boy!....Counter tops, paint colors, and fencing options!

The science/math interest questionaire was distributed today and kids took it. I will process results soon. Kids took a group math quiz for chapter 3.
I set up new utilities for Oceanside home. I had to stay late at work to go to the OCEAA Skate Party Fundraiser. I've got my unused rollerblades with me this time.
Tomorrow we sign more papers for the house.
Uggghh...I need to start reading for AR and prepping to teach Force and Motion Unit.
